If you love playing casino games, you may have heard of some recent expansions and openings in your area. The latest expansion project is the Yaamava’ Resort Casino in California. The $760 million expansion will add three new floors, as well as more slot machines and table games, a high limit room, and new restaurants. The first phase of the expansion is expected to be completed by July 2021, and a new 2,800-seat entertainment venue is expected to open early next year.

The Rock & Brews and Rolling Hills casinos are both undergoing renovations and expansions. The Spokane Tribe casino expansion was spearheaded by Warner Gaming. The expansion was built by Swinerton Builders, with Cuningham Group of Minnesota providing design services. Eventually, the expansion is expected to create 150 new jobs and attract tourists to Spokane. The expansion is phase two of a $400 million economic development plan. The plan calls for the construction of a new hotel on 145 acres on U.S. Highway 2, as well as a convention center, dining area, entertainment center, cultural center, and other amenities. When finished, the hotel-casino property will generate more than 2,000 jobs.

The Palms is another major expansion project in Las Vegas. After being closed for over a decade, the Palms was recently purchased by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. While the Palms may lack the luster of its former glory, it retains its luster.
